(Update: Apparently I must have hit the “more” button on the editor by mistake. Sorry about that!)
Bikes, Boats, ‘n’ BBQ Ride (maybe?): 70 miles
………Instead, put in 34 miles. Netted 3 PRs.
Monday – LBC ‘Fat Forty’: ~50 miles total (including commutes)
Tuesday – Intervals and LSD*: 25 – 35 miles
Wednesday – Rest Day; Easy Pace Only: No Specific Distance
Thursday – LBC Boston-Munfordville-Boston Century: 100 Miles
Friday – R E C O V E R Y !
Saturday – LBC Iroquois Special: ~50 miles (including commutes)
Minimum Total Distance: 250 miles.
Maximum Total Distance: 350 miles.
The Iroquois Special might get scrubbed in favor of a River City Cycling s24o, but I think the ultimate mileage will be comparable.
That’s one big week for me, y’all.
At a minimum — assuming that the BBnBBQ Ride doesn’t go down (which, frankly, is looking likely right now) and I wind up riding only 25 miles on Sunday and that I don’t ride at all on Wednesday or Friday (which is entirely possible) — that’s half the total goal distance for the July 500 (#BCCJuly500 on Google+). It feels doable, though.
FWIW, the 350 mile maximum is based on all rides going down as planned for maximum distances plus riding some mad miles on Wednesday and Friday. It’s a cap. I am not allowed to ride more than 350 miles this week.
People of the Internet, I expect you to hold me to that one, even though you’re busy watching the Tour.
Like Kittel, keep the rubber side down!
*That’s long slow distance, you crazy junkies, you!
